Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration
30th Celebration is a special Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion created to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon TCG. The expansion launched simultaneously worldwide on September 16, 2026.
30th Celebration is part of the Mega Evolution Series. The set contains more than 150 cards and mixes new artwork with callbacks to Pokémon TCG history. Alongside cards such as Mew ex, Mewtwo ex, Umbreon ex, Salamence ex, and Greninja ex, the expansion includes a Classic Collection featuring 30 iconic cards from across the game's history.

There's a Pikachu in every pack.
The defining collecting feature of 30th Celebration is its Pikachu subset. Every 30th Celebration booster pack contains one of 30 different Pikachu Rare cards.
A booster contains five foil cards—including its guaranteed Pikachu—plus one foil Basic Energy card.

Why 30 Pikachu?
The collection celebrates Pokémon's 30th anniversary with 30 different versions of its most recognizable Pokémon—one for each year of the anniversary milestone.
These are not simply 30 copies of the same card with different artwork. Each Pikachu has its own illustration, illustrator, and attacks, giving every card its own personality.

The English Pikachu run occupies cards 023/128 through 052/128 in the main 30th Celebration set. But each card also carries a second special number dedicated specifically to the Pikachu collection.

That second number is what Pika30 uses as the primary collection number. Collect 01/30 through 30/30 and you've completed the full Pikachu run.

One of the most interesting parts of the collection is seeing how different Pokémon artists interpret the same character. Pokémon confirmed that every Pikachu in the subset features a different illustration and artist.
